企业若想发展，就得正视开源，并让开源回归自由

嗯，没错，是VMware的首席开源官（我无法掩饰的对这个职位的羡慕。）的一次采访！VMware 因为是站在开源的肩膀之上，一直以来对于开源都有着独特的理解。比如这次采访，也说明了对于业界有着深刻的洞见：

“开源甚至已经超越了软件开发的方法论，开源某种程度上已经成了如何组织人与人之间的交互以及如何创建让人惊异的软件！” Dirk Hohndel 如此说到。

开源：再也不仅仅是技术的事情了。 A big component of open source is for developers to be participants in a community and contribute back, understanding how these communities, made up of people from all kinds of backgrounds and from different regions of the world, can work together to create great software. 能做此事的人，绝对是人类史上大师级的人物。

本文更加的坚定了我对这个职位的追求！

我不是报道新闻的。而是希望透过新闻看到其背后的开源运作！很明显，作为厂商来发起的开源项目——FaceBook的开放计算项目是成功的，模式是可以复制的。

可以将开放计算项目的模式给学习起来了，列入自己的“开源之术”当中。

在当今开源就是创新

适兕点评：

JCloud 的PMC采访，有很多精彩的见解。当然不能忽略其对于JCloud这套API的成绩，JCloud能够走到今天，也是尤其独特的一面的。但是开源之道不重点讨论技术，尽管涉及的都是深度的技术。我个人对整个采访所看到的重点有2:

• Ignasi Barrera对于Apache开源治理的认同：Well, there is no “me” in Apache projects. The community and the Project Management Committee (PMC) control the direction of the projects, and all decisions are made by consensus in public discussions. 还在犹豫和蹉跎什么？开源之术，先从成功案例搞起。
• Open source is where innovation happens today. Companies have understood the benefits of the open source model and have seen that it is a great way to create technology. They are adopting it and contributing more and more, and this gives a lot of potential to open innovation and to create the technology of the future.
